When I was 15, I started noticing the effects of the world's lack of responsibility towards the Earth, massive heat waves sweeping over Rome, so hot not even the AC could cancel them out, sleepless nights due to insane heat, and when finally falling asleep, waking up to a massive whirlwind sweeping by, leading right into a heavy rainstorm. I always had this fear the world would go to shit in 20 years, that mankind's inaction would finally have consequences. Well here we are, I'm 36 and lost my family when I was 31 in the Baltic Firestorms of 2037, what used to be heat waves simply making us sweat when I was 15, became my worst nightmare when I was 31. They died while I was in the military training to be a helicopter specialist just like my father did. When Italy closed its borders I no longer trusted my government, when they reopened in the 2040's, I refused to go back, how could I? Knowing the government did jack shit to prevent my family's death when they had the chance? I decided to join a No-Pat task force and put my specialist skills to good use, I'm basically their frontline repairman for their helicopters now. At least I'm fighting for a good cause, and I gotta help stop this war while I still can, that's what my family would've wanted me to do if they were still here. I'm headed to London next, last time I saw it I was 12 and I saw Spitfires fly at an air show during the same trip, now I'm going to be seeing it half underwater with SU-57's and F-35's flying over it instead, with helis that I helped repair escorting me in to fight and stop a worthless war.
