**Author:** Oski_Polski --- ![](superpower.png) SPECIALIST: FILIP WATOSZEK LOCATION: ŻYWIEC, POLAND DAY: MAY 21st 2043 <br> It's been couple of days since we arrived to this hill and set up our artillery guns. Thanks to our recon units we were able to deal some damage to Russian forces.  We still have no information about American support. All we know, is that they are still in Germany, fighting against rouge No-Pats. Their help is crucial for our survival, as we will run out of ammunition eventually.  2 days ago we opened fire on Russian Armoured Brigade, which was crossing into Polish border from Chechian town of Ostrava.  Damn, when I was a kid I visited that town. It was my first time I was away from Poland. And now all that's left of this town is burned ruins...  During forest fires of 2030s Ostrava was hit very hard by the fire. This town had no extreme emergency services and no big water source. What is sad is that residents were literally trapped. Huge firestorm surrounded the town, the only way people could get out is via helicopter rescue. The only positive is that majority of population was evacuated... yeah, majority. At one point fires broke out of control to a point where aerial evacuation was impossible. The fate of people who were left behind is unknown, although I'm sure you can guess what fate they met with fire being around them... Ehh... But back to report.  Russian Armoured Brigade was under fire for around 2 hours. Later our recon drone footage was showing total destruction. We scored many hits on at least 5 tanks and 4 armoured vehicles, trucks and cars. It seemed that we also hit a fuel truck, as there was huge cloud of fire on the footage. Wrecks also blocked majority of the roads. Anyway, this strike was major success.  The next day seemed calm. There were no reports from our recon. We obviously couldn't see everything as we didn't had that much access on Chechian territory.  But today at 6AM Russians opened Artillery fire in our direction. Luckily it was very inaccurate, as they missed us by around 3KM's. Most importantly, they missed residential areas, though they might get better results in the coming days.  We know they don't have any recon units in here, and especially airforce. If we stop our fire we might lead them to believing they hit us directly.  Yeah, they are not really smart as I said before. This might work. But it kinda seems that Russians are already desperate. On the Eastern side they seem to bring more and more supplies as our defences started inflicting many casualties.  But it wasn't so pretty all the time. Russians managed to break through our defence in Rzeszov and Lublin region and managed to open up a gap in our defence towards Cracow. Now we need to hope Russians won't use it before we can fill it.  I don't think Russians would try this though, they didn't had much of a luck before with this kind of maneuvers. And when they tried those back in the day, they always suffered heavy casualties, so I'm not expecting them to have much of a luck now.  Things are looking different more up in the North-East. Russians were mostly on defence there, as Kaliningrad is still part of Russia. Kaliningrad is really important target, as rocket launchers and Navy ports stationed there could easily destroy our Baltic defences. Our forces started a push on May 8th there and seen successes most of the times. Russians seem to be so desperate there, that they literally used their World War 2 strategy. I'm talking about "Order 227". Now, order 227 might seem like a standard order. Well, it's not. Order 227, or more precisely "Not One Step Back" order basically puts a lot of pressure on standard Russian soldiers, as they are forced much harder to keep pushing. And what was so special about 227? During World War 2, when Soviets were in full retreat, Stalin gave an order to stop retreating, and every soldier who was seen retreating or deserting his post was to be shot on sight. Russian command established troops who had orders to fire on retreating forces, unless there was clear order for retreat. Obviously, as in World War 2, soldiers didn't listen all the time. While advancing our forces found evidence of 227 in effect. If I would be Russian soldier under this order, I would prefer to surrender than retreat, unless I would be some kind of propagandized maniac who doesn't see anything apart from Russia. But now our offensive in Kaliningrad seems to be put into a halt, as Russian defence became too fierce for our soldiers who spent most of the time marching further into the Russian territory. I know that Kaliningrad's naval bases have to be captured as fast as possible, as they present very huge threat to Baltic defences and American Navy once it joins the fight. There are also rumors of Russians storing nuclear device in one of Kaliningrad bases, so our forces need to be extra careful.  And since there's no NATO anymore, US won't respond if nuclear explosion happens. At least not how we could expect them to in 2020s. It's 6PM right now. We weren't sleeping since we heard explosions behind us. It seems Russians really believe they hit us... Tomorrow we will discuss our plans, as we don't have enough intel to perform any kind of attack. If we could only get coordinates of their artillery which was firing at us, that would be great... One thing is certain. We won't let them come here and "liberate" us again.  As my friend's grandma once said: "I would prefer to let a Nazi in my house than a Russian.".
