America doesn't reward his kind of heroism anymore. It just makes new wars and new mistakes. When he talks about removing human soldiers from the equation, I think he means it. He can't make the conflict stop, so he's trying to squeeze the blood out instead. But he's falling into the same trap again. Sacrificing people. Switching sides at the last minute.
