It was a goldmine. The scope of [[Arkangel|Arkangel's]] plan, while still unclear, was far greater than expected: this was no longer just about Boreas. Four leads piqued [[Codex/Profiles/Valkyrie|Valkyrie's]] interest. The unit split them amongst each other and they parted ways to track their assigned trail of breadcrumbs. [[Codex/Specialists/Webster Mackay|Mackay]] traveled to a defunct European Union Space Agency site. Expecting the site to be under Arkangel control, Mackay was surprised to find it appeared to remain abandoned. It did become quickly apparent, however, that this was no normal EUSA operation. Before it collapsed, the EUSA described its mission as one of peace. "If we are to truly venture out into the next frontier, we must do so united as one world." Mackay remembered the marketing campaign. Finding a EUSA armory and military training facility caught Mackay off guard. Unsure of what the Arkangel connection was, Mackay scoured the base. Sure, Arkangel had the Shearwater and Ascension satellite networks, but neither really screamed "space warfare." Then he stumbled upon "Project S." Before he could find anything more, the facility came under siege - he'd tripped a silent alarm. Short on gear, he found a EUSA military storage room and donned their gear.
