### Description
Operation: Future Strike was greenlit following an intelligence report stating the [[Thousand Petals Coalition]] planned to seize neutral Shearwater weather terminals. [[Joint Task Force 7]] was deployed to ensure these satellites were kept out of enemy hands. Over the next several weeks, JTF-7 conducted strikes in Canada, Chile, Czechia, Queen Maud Land, South Africa, and Sweden.
[[Arkangel]] sounded the alarm over the [[Mandate of Nations|Mandate's]] actions and declared the operation an "unwarranted act of aggression against Arkangel infrastructure." After the events at the [[Stadium|Capitol International Stadium]] in Doha, they argued, "the Mandate has made their intentions clear: they plan to continue to violate the governing agreement ensuring our neutrality."
The Mandate of Nations defended their decision, arguing they had no intention of seizing the stations, but were attempting to safeguard them from the Coalition.
\[Addendum: in the aftermath of operation, it was revealed that the intelligence report used to justify the strike was falsified. Whether it was fabricated by the Mandate, or an intentional fraudulent leak by the Coalition to bait their adversary, remains unclear.]
