Some of us just know that they're just that, and nothing more." - Casper "The only people who really know what went down in Halvøy died a hundred years ago." - Irish "A mechanism capable of engineering a ring of fire. An organization conducting experiments on hundreds, maybe thousands, of soldiers. If it happened, it would be one of the greatest cover-ups of World War Two." - Angel "The question isn't what Sulis did back then. What are they doing now?" - Valkyrie <br> ### Description While [[Sulis]] led numerous secret initiatives during WW2, none have inspired more conspiracy theories than the Firestorm Project in Halvøy, Norway. At its simplest, the Firestorm Project has been described as a test of endurance, skill and survival. British and German soldiers were deployed into Sulis-occupied Halvøy and fought to the death until only one remained - while a ring of fire slowly closed in and consumed the region in flames. How these soldiers came to be a part of the experiment differs based on account: some claim they were volunteers in search of glory, while others adamantly believe they were forced into the test against their will. What all the theories agree upon is that Sulis engineered the ring of fire and purposefully controlled it, yet proof of this has never been recovered. The Firestorm tests varied. Sometimes soldiers fought in squads, sometimes in pairs, and sometimes it was every soldier for themselves. Those who survived the ring of fire became part of a special covenant, whose role within Sulis was never uncovered. The purpose of the Firestorm Project remains unknown.
