### Description
Founded in 2038, the No-Pat News Network is a collective of war reporters that provides breaking news and information to No-Pat enclaves and ships around the world.
For many years, they were strictly unaligned with any nation or government (although many of them use past connections and hacking leaks for sources). This changed after the formation of [[Namaqualand]], when the network built a headquarters in the [[No-Pats|Non-Patriated]] nation-state.
To most No-Pat soldiers on the ground, the network is the only "unbiased" source of news, although in truth, the network is simply one of the few organizations that treats No-Pats with respect and dignity.
A longstanding ally, [[Mitahli Reed|Mitahli Reed]] and the Reed Report formally joined the network in 2045, although her program had been unofficially syndicated on the network for several years.
After the formation of Namaqualand, [[Loyiso "Oz" Okusanya|Oz]] became a face of the network, driving viewership well beyond No-Pats; it seemed the whole world tuned in to hear what the founder of the first No-Pat nation had to say. Oz rejected an offer to host his own show on the network, though proposed a standing "open slot" that would give him access to the airwaves at a moment's notice.
The spontaneity of his transmissions only added to their allure and grandeur. He only ever spoke publicly through the network, which kept listeners hooked: you never knew when an Oz transmission might begin, so you were always listening. His hope, now that the network's audience had grown, was for people to realize there were more voices for No-Pats than simply his. In that regard, he succeeded.
