### Description
After years of secretive dedication to the cause as Commander of [[Nova Group]], Hamasaki Nayomi was a natural candidate to lead the [[Thousand Petals Coalition|Coalition's]] [[CGF 9th Battalion]].
Leading Nova Group, Hamasaki oversaw the incitement of military coups across several nation-states that were to join the coalition, including a pivotal role in a seizure of her own home country. The reward of the 9th Battalion, the first to publicly enter the global conflict, was a welcomed reward from the Coalition's Sovereign Conclave.
A hardline loyalist, Hamasaki saw a world unwilling to help those left behind. When the massive [[Daesong]] data leak triggered several terrorist attacks across Japan, she waited for either superpower to help a country thrown into chaos. Instead, she only saw her anger ferment when no help came. The period of unrest that followed demonstrated to her the only way to ensure her people's future was to take immediate action.
Hamasaki knew there was a difficult acceptance period ahead for many of the overthrown nations, but in the long term, the benefits reaped would be undeniable. Once these countries saw the reality of what could be achieved, their transcendence would begin.
Leading the Chilean invasion, Hamasaki understood the paramount importance of the Atacama aquifer: a fruitful water source for their allies that would strip resources from the West in the process.
How long the tenuous relationship with Russian forces could be maintained, Hamasaki wasn't optimistic. For now, they were a useful, albeit blunt, instrument to force a global shift for the welfare of the forgotten.
